SAIDEN

Saiden is one of 14 dogs who arrived at our kennels after living in appalling conditions. Having had very little human contact, all of the dogs were frightened, nervous, and unsure of their new surroundings.

We were delighted to see Saiden grow in confidence once he became familiar with us. He has blossomed into a playful, cheeky boy who has the cutest face.

As you can see, one of Saiden’s eyes is smaller than the other. Although he can see from it, his vision may be somewhat restricted. Saiden will need a special family, as he is deaf. However, many deaf dogs go on to live happy, fulfilling lives with the right support and understanding.

We were unsure whether Saiden had previously suffered trauma to the side of his head, which could have caused both his smaller eye and his deafness. To investigate further, we arranged for X-rays to be taken, but fortunately they showed no signs of injury or abnormality.

Saiden is fully vaccinated with a passport, is microchipped, sterilized, bloodtested and takes treatment for fleas and ticks, is dewormed and on Heartworm prevention. For more information or for an appointment (appointments only) contact the kennels directly.
