Floors and Foundations

The floors and foundations of the different areas are beginning to take shape. You can see from these photos that all around us is agricultural land which is perfect from our point of view – few distractions and noises to annoy our four-legged friends and equally we won’t be causing a nuisance to any close neighbours.

There are a few downsides to being out the campo however – there’s no power anywhere near so the project cost includes almost 30,000€ to bring an electrical supply to the site. We carefully considered all the options to generate our own power, but in the end the most reliable and cost-effective option was to pay to be connected to the grid.
